Our Campsite Social Distancing Policy

Updated: Jul 23, 2020

In order to help protect our guests and ourselves from the Covid-19 virus and to lower the risk of spreading the infection, to keep in line with government regulations and to allay the fears especially among our more elderly campers of catching the virus, we shall instigate the following safeguards on our reopening.

THE SHOWER AND TOILET BLOCK MAY BE CLOSED BECAUSE OF COVID-19 DEPENDING ON GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS SO PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE YOUR OWN TOILET AND WASH FACILITIES INSIDE YOUR UNIT

As the owners we will undertake to do the following:

  • We are a small site but in a large space so we will have the usual number of pitches available but the head count on site will be limited

  • Deeper cleaning of all areas

  • Regular sanitising of all touch surfaces

  • Indoor seating & indoor recreation area closed

  • There will be a one way system instigated in the toilet block

  • Tourism leaflets will be removed but some will be pinned to the walls instead. This is for hygene purposes

  • Installing of appropriate signage around the site

  • Put into place social distancing measures ( see below)

  • Encouraging and if necessary instructing camping guests to adhere the the social distancing measures.

What you agree to if you stay at Bush Farm Campsite

By Staying at Bush Farm Campsite you will have to agree to the following social distancing measures.

If you do not wish to abide by the measures below then do not book! Anyone who repeatedly flouts these measures will be told to leave the site with no refund.

These measures may be changed or added to without notice.

  • Payment by debit/credit card is preferred

  • You must pitch at a distance of no less than 6 metres from the neighbouring unit

  • Nobody is to cut across anyone else’s pitch

  • 2 metre (or the government instruction at the time) social distancing will be in force

  • Parents MUST be aware of where their children are at all times

  • Young children MUST be accompanied by an adult at ALL times in the toilet block

  • Children MUST NOT play or run around in the toilet block facility

  • Children are NOT to approach other campers or campers units unless invited to do so and must still keep the the distancing rule. Some people may be very anxious if children approach them uninvited particularly the more elderly people

  • There is a one way system applied inside the toilet block. Please keep to it.

  • If both toilets or the shower are engaged please queue outside the toilet block using the distancing rule or return to your unit until the facility is available

  • Units that have their own toilet and wash facilities are encouraged to use them rather than our own facilities but this is not a rule. Please be aware that some smaller units and tents do not have their own facilities so give way to those if possible.

  • Wash hands thoroughly or sanitise each time after using the toilet. Please see to it that your children do this too

  • There will be no tourism info leaflets for you to take but we will pin a selection of the most popular to the wall inside our facility block. These must NOT be removed.

  • Visitors, friends or family that are NOT staying at Bush Farm must NOT enter the property. The only exception to this is when you have someone coming to pick you up in which case they must wait for you in their car down in the parking area by the house. They must NOT enter the field

All of the above is to minimise the risk to all of us of catching the virus infection and for you to have a stress free, relaxed stay and an enjoyable holiday here at Bush Farm. We thank you in advance for your co-operation in these difficult times. We hope you will book with us and we look forward to seeing you soon. Stay safe!
